The tailgate motor still does not lift the tailgate in colder weather. I tried it the next morning and had the same problem. All they supposedly did was lubricate it.

Brought it in for electrical problems twice now, over $300 in diagnostics and it’s worse than when I first brought it in! For example I had one bad tire sensor and within the hour of it being “checked” I left with all four not working and the intermittent problem I had with a door ajar alert is now always on as if it was programmed to do this, it was off when I brought it in. Then they tell me it’s related to a window switch which is common to cause the door ajar alert and “it’s common for them to go out” but they don’t care the common problem item in stock have to order it and it will cost another $240 for a switch! You have to come up with better scams or at least more believable than that and I’m happy to share with everyone (I’m on a lot of local boards throughout the Northwoods) why I will not return to Parsons and choose a competitor of Chevy when I trade it in…

I never got that sheet that I usually get that shows what they checked. He told me when I got back from the restaurant that my cabin filter needed replacing and there was animal junk all over my passenger floor. He had my cell # why didn’t he call me to have it changed. When I got back my car was already outside.

The "animal junk" on the passenger floor may have happened when we checked the cabin air filter and found it extremely dirty-- please stop by anytime to get that cleaned up and to replace your air filter if you choose. I have trusted this dealership to perform service on my GMC 3500 for over two years. The first year, they did a great job. However, starting in year two, the quality of their service has been declining. This past summer, they did an oil and fuel filter change for me, but they never bothered to check the cabin air filter. When I was in Canada getting another oil change, the GM dealer checked my cabin air filter as part of their service and found it to be extremely filthy. I ask myself, why didn't Parsons ever check the filter for me since I was a regular customer? Then, about three months later, a service parking brake warning displayed. So, I took it to them for service. I was told that I would have to wait for about two hours, which was okay with me. At the four-hour mark, I was starting to get a bit angry about the wait and lack of communication. Finally, 4 hours and 30 minutes after drop-off, they told me that they had difficulty determining the problem, and their tech had to call GMC support a few times. I was told that they could not determine the problem, and they would have to take the axle off, and quoted a cost of $2,400 to determine the problem. The repairs would then be extra!! I told them I would think about it. I then attempted to drive the vehicle home, but about 30 minutes into my trip, the check engine light came on. So, I drove back to the Parsons to have them check the issue. That is when I noticed the greasy black finger prints the repair tech left on my beautiful white truck! After another half hour of waiting, I got a vague answer about the reason for the check engine light, but at least it was fixed. At this point, I have lost all faith in the quality of Parson's service, and I have decided to stop doing business with them. I believe that their problem is a lack of qualified staff. I also believe that the technician failed to reconnect something that caused the check engine light. The service manager was pleasant but appeared overwhelmed to me. If Parsons is unable to perform good-quality service within the quoted time frames, then I am hesitant to purchase a new or used car from them. At this point, I would encourage fellow motorists to contact a different dealership for both sales and service.

Came in at 4:30 no appt. The gentleman at the Service Desk was so nice. I told him I had a headlight out which turned into not just a bulb. Very accommodating. They fixed my light, did a recall fix as well. I was offered water as I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. It is so nice to have a dealership like this that I trust with all of my vehicles. Ordered accessories for a new truck including assist steps and a retractable tonneau cover. Upon picking up the vehicle, Dave M shared that he was looking at the tonneau cover after unpacking and noticed an imperfection on the seal and upon further investigation saw a dent on the tonneau cover which appeared to occur via shipping. The box also showed slight damage. First, placed an order immediately for a replacement without me even knowing. Second, the shop went through the trouble of installing the slightly dented tonneau for temporary use until the new one comes in because he knows that the vehicle sits outside. It's rare to find the such high integrity. Honestly, there is a high likelihood that I would have picked up the vehicle without even noticing the dent and eventually I would have chalked it up to me doing something to cause the dent. Finally, the fact that Parsons went through the trouble of ensuring that I had a temporary solution while we're waiting for the replacement is truly up and beyond!

I was told by the service advisor that I could not have the 6.2 L engine recall done as it was not my turn yet. So they gave me just an oil change with the 0–20 oil. I called another Chevy dealer and got in two days later to have the recall done. They tested it and put in the 0–40 oil so I wasted money on the first oil change obviously. Your staff should not have done the oil change and should’ve offered me an appointment for the recall work instead.

At the time of your visit, the recall was listed in our system as “Remedy not available,” which meant we were unable to perform the recall work, so we completed only the oil change. GM is phasing in this recall in stages due to its size, so it’s possible the remedy became available only a couple of days later, allowing the other dealership to complete it. Checked in just before my appointment time of 1300, for an oil change and tire rotation, didn’t leave until after 1500!!! Good thing I didn’t have anything better to do and that I brought my iPad along to keep me entertained and distracted!!! As part of the privilege of being able to use the family car, Dad taught us girls how to change the oil and filter and change a tire!!! I don’t think it ever took us THAT long to do either!!! Now I am 70 years old and have no business being under a car but I shouldn’t have to be held “hostage” because of that fact either!!! Otherwise I am satisfied with the work that was done.

I paid for lube, oil Change, filter, tire rotation and multipoint inspection the vehicle inspection report indicated. the tire pressure was good @ 35 psi. However, the tire pressure should be 41psi according to the recommended tire pressure label located inside drivers door jam. I had to return back to dealership to have more nitrogen added. This required me to drive an extra 20 miles and I was late to arrive at an important scheduled meeting. After leaving the dealership a second time, I am wondering if the correct oil and filter were installed and what else may have been overlooked or ignored. This was a very disappointing experience.

Excellent ! I ran over a nail and utility knife blade on the eve of a major holiday on a late Friday afternoon. I was loosing air from my tire at a rapid rate. I was close to Parsons. Not much to say. It was an oil chang e with tire rotation. The gentleman at the service desk informed me that the mechanic heard 'chirping noise' coming from the serpine belt, and that I should be aware of any further noise.

We were looking for a new Suburban and were looking at the only one on front lot. Todd walked out with key in hand, introduced himself, my wife asked if he’d like to sell a car today! We test drove the vehicle, loved it and told Todd we’d be back in a week, don’t sell our Suburban! He right away had it moved to back lot! We came back on Saturday, he had it all detailed,tanked up and ready to go, paperwork was all ready so we signed and got a tour of dealership and handed him a check for purchase of vehicle! Todd in sales did an outstanding job for us! This is the first new Chevy we have ever bought and hope it starts a new tradition, at 67 years old I’m not sure how many new cars I’ll buy but I can tell you this, Ford ain’t happy!!

I had to come in 3 different times because the original time in the harness needed to be ordered. Then the harness came in and the camera was the wrong camera. The third time in everything ws correct. I think I should be offered a detailing for the inconvenience.
