At the time of your visit, the recall was listed in our system as “Remedy not available,” which meant we were unable to perform the recall work, so we completed only the oil change. GM is phasing in this recall in stages due to its size, so it’s possible the remedy became available only a couple of days later, allowing the other dealership to complete it.
